Folding Operator

FOLDING OPERATOR STARTING PAY $23-25
Responsibilities
- Complete set ups on miniature folding equipment
- Operation and preventive maintenance of folding equipment
- Complete folding as per the specifications on docket and the sample provided in the docket
- Maintain cleanliness of working area and equipment
- Make prototype samples as required by customer and other internal departments
- Ensure line clearance to prevent cross-contamination
- Follow GMP and other protocols set by the company
- Set up codes on the folding readers
- Set up the water scores and glue guns on the folders
- Ensure that the folders run at their optimum best efficiency
- Abide by the company policy, procedures and related work instructions
- Suggest improvements to department heads
- Complete the weight checking of trays to ensure the number of inserts meet the packaging requirements
- Fill the related forms and checklists correctly and on time
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working on GUK folders, MBO Folders, Stahl Folders or any other brand of folding equipment is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating folding machines or formally trained to run the folding machines
Hours
Monday to Friday
Day shift: 6:00am-2:30pm
Afternoon shift: 1:30pm-10:00pm
