Manufacturing IT System Specialist Lima 21147

We have locations in Dayton/Columbus region plus Windsor and Kitchener Ontario. We are an engineering company that specializes in manufacturing IT systems, controls and automation systems as well as software development.  Currently we are seeking a manufacturing IT systems or engineer familiar with manufacturing data collection and IT systems.

Job Description:

As a Manufacturing IT systems engineer or Controls Engineer you will be responsible for:

-Supporting manufacturing IT systems such as production monitoring, traceability, marquees etc.
-Project and technical documentation
-An understanding of manufacturing automation and basic PLC logic would be helpful
-Working on and off-site in offices and manufacturing facilities with little to no supervision
-Liaison and project communication with customers
-Some travel will be required

Skills:

-Good understanding of SCADA systems and using OPC would be most helpful
-Familiar with industrial networks and dealing with servers and data collectors
-Knowledge in Activplant, Marquee manager is a definite bonus
-Knowledge of MS SQL database and SQL query language and SQL Reporting Services a must.
-Ability to work well with other team members and with customers
-Excellent communication skills; fluent in speaking and writing English

Qualifications:

-Engineering Degree or Computer Science Degree or equivalent college credentials
-Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred
