We are looking for a Profit Center Managing Leader (PCML) for the Urban Land practice area located in our Red Deer, Alberta office.

This individual will be the recognized operational leader of a profit center (PC), accountable for the attainment of the PC's management, financial, and performance objectives.

Reporting to the Regional Leader in Red Deer, the specific roles and responsibilities of this opportunity are:

  • Overall fiscal and operational responsibility/performance for the Group
  • Project Management/Allocation of resources for projects
  • Recruiting and staff training
  • Business development and enhancement
  • Proposal preparation/consultation
  • Development of annual operating budgets
  • Continuous improvement of systems and technology
  • Lead by example, encourage innovation, provide opportunity and have fun


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the Urban Land Development Industry with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the implementation of Urban land development engineering projects.

The candidate will have knowledge in the project management, planning, design  and contract administration of successful projects.

He or She will be a results-oriented individual who excels in a multi-disciplinary environment.  Strong leadership, financial management, business development, communication and team building skills are essential for the candidate to meet the expectations of this challenging position.
Prior consulting experience, within the Urban Land Development sector, and established client and agency contacts are desirable.
The candidate will have a desire to succeed, be enthusiastic, and possess a high degree of integrity.
