Our Tempe office looking for a Drawing Checker.
Responsibilities:
- The Checker position ensures that all drawings are checked / reviewed for compliance to our Quality Assurance standards and engineering intent.
- The Checker is also responsible for ensuring the back drafting of checked design drawings are complete and correct and that the drawings are checked for engineering completeness by the responsible engineer.
- Constructive input and feedback to designers upon completion of project drawings.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten (10) years drafting experience with emphasis on underground mines and underground mine infrastructure design
- Needs to have good structural, civil and mechanical background
- The applicant will have an excellent understanding of the applicable Mining and Safety Acts, Regulations, and Codes and familiarity with all aspects of underground mines and underground mine infrastructure design.
